Dental Check-up Camp for Students of KG and Primary
The week-long Children’s Day celebrations began with a Dental Camp for primary children of Classes LKG, UKG, 1 & 2 on Day -1 (07.11.22) and Classes 3,4 & 5 – Day 2 (08.11.22). The camp was led by Dr. Suman Bagathi and his team.
The first venue for the dental camp was in play pen where two doctors have checked the students of L.K.G and U.K.G on 07.11.22 and the students of class 3 on 08.11.22. The second venue was in the auditorium where three doctors have checked the students of classes 1 & 2 on 07.11.22 and the students of classes 4 & 5 on 08.11.22.
The children were checked for dental cavities and other dental problems. The team of doctors spoke to the children about brushing their teeth twice a day, avoiding too much sweets and chocolates and practising good habits for proper oral hygiene. Most of the children were found with good oral hygiene. However, some of the students were advised to visit a dentist.
Children are very happy with the dental check-up. The young students cherished the chance to interact with the dentists to enquire and gain knowledge about their oral health and maintaining good oral hygiene.
