World Population Day, observed annually on 11th July 2024, aims to raise awareness about global population issues. This year Little Angels School marked the day with a series of engaging and educational activities that highlighted the importance of population control, sustainable development and environmental conservation.
Students of classes 4 & 5 drew their family trees. This activity helped them to understand family structures and the concept of population growth on a personal level.
Students of classes 6 and 7 showcased their creativity by designing logos related to World Population Day. This activity enhanced their understanding of population issues and encouraged them to think about solutions for sustainable development.
To comprehend the demographic structure and the implications of population distribution of India, students of Class 8 drew Population Pyramids.
Students of classes 9 and 10 participated in a quiz focussed on the population of India. The quiz tested their knowledge on various aspects of India's population, demographic trends and the impact of population on development. of the country.
The observance of World Population Day at our school fostered awareness and the importance of population control and encouraged proactive thinking among the students.
