Birth Anniversary of Mark Twain


English Club 'Alphabet' celebrated the birthday of the author 'Mark Twain' who is known as the greatest American humorist of his age on 30th November.

Various competitions were conducted to honour the American writer and humorist.

Students of classes 1 & 2 participated in pictorical story writing competition. Students of classes 3 to 5 participated in story telling competition where they narrated short stories written by Mark Twain.

A Quiz Competition was conducted on the Life & Works of Mark Twain and on his books 'Adventures of Tom Sawyer and its sequel, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn' for the students of secondary classes. 

Children were inspired by the author who says "Knowledge is worth more than anything there is in the world', in his book 'The Adventures of Tom Sawyer'.
