Nutrition Week was conducted for classes 1 to 10 from 3rd September to 10th September. The theme of the nutrition week was 'Rainbow Colours' for classes 1st  to 5th and 'Balanced Diet' for classes 6th to10th.

The basic objective of this event was to intensify awareness generation on the importance of nutrition for health. Improving the nutritional status of the population is imperative for national development. Under nutrition in young children continues to be a major public health problem in India.

To create a movement so as to improve nutrition at the individual level, the students of classes 1st  to 5th  brought different colours of food items on each day like fruits, vegetables etc., & the students of classes 6 to 10 followed the balanced diet chart for a week, which supplied all the nutrients in a balanced way, to the growing-up children.

Food provides our body with energy, proteins, essential fats, vitamins and minerals to live, grow and function properly. Therefore balanced diet is important for good health and well-being.
