National Maths Day was celebrated on 21.12.2019 in our school. An assembly programme was conducted in which an article on the great achievements of Srinivasa Ramanujan were read out. A dance on the properties of various shapes was performed by the primary children. Students recited poems on counting numbers. A mime show was presented by the secondary class students highlighting time management. The Principal addressed the gathering and spoke on the necessity of Mathematics in one’s life. She advised the students to practice Maths regularly to be perfect in it .Later an exhibition ‘Math-O-Fun’ was organized by the school children . Students from classes 1 to 10 visited the exhibition. They enjoyed the puzzles and games put up in  the exhibition. The exhibits were based on various mathematical concepts like park with shapes, Area and Perimeter ,  Lines and Angles , Heights and Distances , Euler’s formula etc. Children demonstrated their exhibits with great enthusiasm.
