As a part of ‘Basanth Panchami’ celebrations a special pooja was performed in the school premises to Goddess Sarswathi by garlanding the idol and offering of flowers by the Principal,HM and teachers.A special assembly was conducted and prayers were offered to Goddess Saraswathi in the form of devotional songs & slokas by the choir.
A special article was presented signifying the importance of Goddess Saraswathi who is marked as a Goddess of knowledge and wisdom. As this festival also marks the onset of the spring festival a special conversation was presented by primary school students keeping in view the similarities between Punjab and Andhra Pradesh . This is as per the guidelines of the CBSE programme ‘Ek Bharath Shrest Bharath” by inculcating the cultures of both states.
