TEACHERS’ DAY

“Teachers Day’ was celebrated in the school on the 5th of September with lots of zeal and enthusiasm. Teachers’ Day is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was not only the second President of the India but also a great teacher.

To mark the occasion, a special assembly was organised by the Red House. Headmistress Smt. Arundhati paid floral tributes to the portrait of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. An article showcasing the contributions of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan towards the field of education was presented in the assembly. Children also showered their praises for their teachers by reciting beautiful poems. A melodious song was rendered by the students acknowledging the contributions of their dear teachers. The members of the student council greeted the teachers and expressed their admiration and gratitude for their teachers.  Headmistress Smt. Arundhati greeted and expressed her gratitude to all the teachers.

After the assembly the students of class 10th took up their role as student teachers. The students were all smiles to greet their teachers. It was a day full of fun and jubilation for the teachers as well as the students.
