NATIONAL UNITY DAY


‘Togetherness leads to harmony,

Harmony leads to peace.’

Little Angels School, Ukkunagaram celebrated ‘National Unity Day’ also known as ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’ on 31st October. The day commemorates the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel- his vision and his contributions to the birth of a new and strong India.

As a part of the celebrations, Social Science Club ‘Virasat’ organised a special assembly. Children presented a conversation showcasing the importance and significance of celebrating the National Unity Day. A monologue was also presented in the attire of Sardar Vallabhai Patel, who championed the ideas of a united and able India.

Students took the pledge to preserve and strengthen the unity, integrity and security of the nation.

A Unity Run was organised in the school playground for classes 1 to 10 . The ‘Unity Run’ was organised with an aim to promote unity and harmony among people and to acknowledge and honour the legacy of Sardar Vallabhai Patel. Students participated very enthusiastically in the ‘Unity Run’.
