“Maths gives us the hope that every problem has a solution”
Members of the Dodeca Club, celebrated National Maths Day in Little Angels School, Ukkunagaram on 22.12.2022. The program began with a sloka, followed by the prayer. Two children of class 9A presented a conversation on the importance of National Maths Day.
National Maths Day is celebrated every year on December 22, on the birth anniversary of the Maths legend “Srinivas Ramanujan”. The great achievements of the great Mathematician were also highlighted.
Members of the Maths club presented a skit on different types of numbers, starting from Natural numbers to Real numbers.
Three poems were recited by the students. The poems were based on 3D shapes and how to improve our skills in Mathematics.
“The only way to learn Mathematics is to do Mathematics”
Children of the primary classes tapped their feet to a musical note with numbers from 1 to 10.
Different competitions were conducted on 20.12.2022. these competitions were Coding and Decoding, Sudoku Puzzles and Multiplication Puzzles based on the thinking level of the students. The Principal Smt. Visalakshi gave the prizes to the winners of the competitions during the assembly.
Many charts were also displayed on the display boards to depict the works of Srinivas Ramanujan.
