PONGAL CELEBRATIONS
‘Pongal marks joy and cheer and brings along everything that’s best.’
Pongal was celebrated in Little Angels School with great zeal, enthusiasm and elation. A special assembly was organized by the Telugu club. Students rendered a melodious song which made the audience spell bound. A special article was read to mark the importance of Pongal.
A room was decorated where the three- day celebration was depicted and all the relevant items of the festival were displayed. The children explained and performed dances to mark the occasion.
Kite- making and Rangoli competitions were conducted in this connection. Students participated with high spirits of enthusiasm.
