Teacher's Day & Krishna Janmhastami


“A good education can change anyone. A good teacher can change everything”

To commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, India’s former President, a philosopher and also a great teacher,the school celebrated “Teachers Day” on 5th September 2023 with great enthusiasm.

The programme started with a prayer song. Principal Smt. Visalakshi, Headmistress Smt. Arundhati, overall coordinators and teachers paid floral tributes to the portrait of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. A beautiful poem was recited by a student of secondary class to express gratitude for the invaluable efforts and guidance of the teachers. The members of the student council greeted the teachers and thanked them for their continuous support and guidance.

  To seek the blessings of lord shri Krishna, Janmashtami was also celebrated a day ahead of the actual event (6thSeptember).

 A small skit depicting the role of shri Krishna as a teacher, who educated the world about devotion and dharma as well as the eventual reality ,was performed by the students of secondary classes.

Principal Smt. Visalakshi greeted the teachers on this special occasion. She advised the students to respect and express gratitude to their teachers who lead them in the right direction and help to make right choices in life. The assembly ended with formal vote of thanks.

Later the student teachers took up their roles as teachers in the allotted classrooms. The students were all smiles to greet their teachers.

A special programme was organized in the library exclusively for the teachers. Director Sri Kranti Kiran graced this event and addressed the gathering. He extended his warm greetings to all the teachers and cherished his school memories. He appreciated the sincere efforts of the teachers in plying a catalytic role in the holistic development of every student. He also expressed his gratitude to the teachers who have served for 10,15 & 20 years in the school.  Principal Smt. Visalakshi congratulated the teachers and acknowledged the invaluable efforts they selflessly put in every day. She inspired everyone that being a teacher is the greatest privilege to contribute towards nation -building.

 HM Smt. Arundhati greeted and expressed her gratitude to all the teachers. It was a day full of fun and jubilation for the teachers as well as the students.
