DIWALI CELEBRATIONS


“May the Divine light of Diwali spread into your life and bring peace, prosperity, happiness, good health and success”.

The school celebrated the joyous and colourful festival, Diwali on the 10th of November 2023.The festival, also called as the ‘Festival of lights’ is celebrated to honour the victory of Lord Rama over Ravana and his return to Ayodhya after an exile of 14 years.

As a part of the celebrations a special assembly was organised by the Blue House. The significance and importance of celebrating this festival was presented through an article.

Music and Dance are of great importance within Indian Culture as they bring people together. No festival is complete without music. The school choir presented an enigmatic song showcasing the beauty of Diwali.

To celebrate the festival in a responsible and eco-friendly manner, the members of the Little Greens Club presented an awareness skit. The skit highlighted the effects of burning crackers, which is causing severe health hazards and also polluting the environment.

A colourful and enthralling group dance was showcased by the secondary students.

Headmistress Smt.Arundhati greeted the students and teachers. She appreciated the students and the teachers for putting up a wonderful programme. She also motivated the students to celebrate Diwali in an eco-friendly manner for a safer environment.
