CHILDREN'S DAY

The school celebrated Children’s Day on the 14th of November 2023 with lot of joy and excitement. The day marks the birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. It was a fun-filled day as the school campus buzzed with jollity and frolic.

A special outdoor assembly was organised by the Blue House Team of teachers as a part of the celebrations. Floral tributes were offered to the portrait of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Famous quotes by Jawaharlal Nehru, which are a source of motivation and inspiration and a conversation depicting the importance of Children’s Day was presented in the assembly.

The kiddos of kindergarten danced to the tune of an English song making the stage look vibrant & colourful. An inspirational song was beautifully rendered by the school choir, which made everyone moving and grooving.

Headmistress Smt. Arundhati in her message greeted the students and advised the students to be careful in every step of their life and to climb the ladder of success with utmost dignity and respect. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem.

Children’s Day is a day that celebrates the innocence, potential and exuberance that resides within every child. To make the day more lively and to nurture the talents of the young minds a ‘Game Zone’ was organised for both primary and secondary classes. The games included Dice Zone, Find Me If You Can (Riddles & Puzzles), Unscramble Me and Memory Game. The students from each class visited the games stalls with lots of curiosity and took an active participation in the games. The winners were appreciated with creative badges along with prizes. Later the children enjoyed and had a gala time in the Class Party organised by the class counsellors.Diifferent fun-filled activities were designed to make the children feel cherished.

Altogether, the day was filled with giggles and excitement of children. It was a wonderful platform which provided an excellent opportunity for the children to bond with the peers and also to enhance their social skills.
