“You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending”.                                                                                  -C.S. Lewis

The school celebrated C.S. Lewis Birth Anniversary on the 29th of November 2023. A special assembly was organised by the English Club ‘Alphabet’.

C.S. Lewis was a prolific writer of non-fiction and fiction for readers of all ages. C.S. Lewis’s ‘The Chronicles of Narnia has delighted readers both young and old since its publication in 1950 and continues to form the cornerstone of Lewis’ Literacy Legacy.

As a part of the celebrations, an article was presented by a student portraying  his life and works. The summary of the fantasy novel ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’ was narrated by a student in the assembly. Famous quotes of C.S. Lewis monologues from ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’ were also presented by the students.

Principal Smt Visalakshi  congratulated the students and the teachers of the English Club for organising the programme. She advised the students to make use of the treasures in the library, browse the school library and enhance their knowledge.
