ATHLETIC MEET (2023-24)

Athletic Meet was conducted in the school premises on 6th February, 2024. Director of Little Angels Schools, Sri Kranti Kiran sir graced the occasion. Principal Smt. Visalakshi madam, Headmistress Smt. Arundathi madam witnessed the programme.
Ther Athletic Meet started with the review of the Parade. Director Kranti Kiran sir inspected the March Past. The platoons marched past, displaying the school banners and house colours soaring high ,marking the significance of the event. They displayed a remarkable team work and co-ordination during the March Past. It was indeed an exhilarating spectacle of discipline and unity. The lighting of torch is the most significant and traditional initiation of the sports events. The torch relay was carried out by the office bearers. The Little Angels flame of peace and harmony was lit in our school premises to remove darkness and brighten up our future.
Director Kranthi Kiran sir declared the sports meet open on this occasion of the Athletic Meet 2023-24.

Sports events started with the ‘TUNNEL RACE’ and ‘POTATO RACE’ for the tiny tots of LKG & UKG. The little ones participated with lot of enthusiasm and energy.
Mesmerizing Patriotic Dances were performed by the students to evoke the spirit of unity.

‘GETTING READY TO SCHOOL’ and ‘BALLOON RACE’ were conducted for the students of classes 1&2 where the students participated with high energy.
A patriotic dance was performed by the students of secondary classes which was a heart-stirring testament of patriotism.

‘BALL BALANCING RACE’ and ’50 METERS RUN’ were conducted for the students of class 3. Students made their way to the end point with lot of energy and enthusiasm.
- ‘RUNNING WITH THE BALL & CONE’, ’80 METERS RUN’ were conducted for the students of classes 4 & 5. The students participated with lot of zeal.
Classical Dance was presented by two students of Primary classes. The dance performance by A. Sai Sahasra with hoop ring and Anvitha made the audience spell-bound. Really, it was a graceful performance.

‘SKIPPING RACE’ & ‘RELAY RACE’ were conducted for the girls of classes 6 & 7. ‘SACK RACE’ and ‘RELAY RACE’ were conducted for the boys of classes 6 & 7 where the students participated with lot of energy to become the winners of the events.
- The students of classes 8 & 9 participated in the ‘RELAY RACE’ and ‘100 METERS RUN’. The students competed in the track and field events with zeal and zest.
Director Kranti Kiran sir congratulated all the winners of various events and appreciated the efforts of all the athletes.
The programme ended by proposing Vote of Thanks. The entire atmosphere reverberated with the echoes of applause of all the participants of Little Angels.
The Athletic Meet ended on the note that ‘Sports is all about playing and competing, enjoy it, be positive and try to win’.
