As a part of the National Library Week celebrations, our school conducted a three-day book exhibition showcasing a diverse range of books, including fiction, non-fiction, subject references, dictionaries, encyclopaedias, arts, physical education, mythology, and more. Students from Classes 6 to 10 thoroughly enjoyed browsing the books and exploring the picture gallery.
The event featured various activities, including book reviews, articles on the importance of reading, and one-minute talks on favourite books. Prizes were awarded to the winners, and students were appreciated for utilizing the library after school hours.
The valedictory function, held on 20th November, included a special assembly with students performing poem recitations and a skit on the importance of reading. The Headmistress appreciated the interest and efforts of the participants and wished them success in their future endeavours.
The National Library Week celebrations were a resounding success. The event aimed to promote reading habits and create awareness about the importance of libraries in our lives.
