SHRI RABINDRANATH TAGORE DEATH ANNIVERSARY
The English Club, Alphabet conducted a special assembly through the PA system to pay tribute to Shri Rabindranath Tagore on the occasion of his death anniversary. Students from both the Primary and Secondary sections participated enthusiastically in the programme.
The assembly began with the recitation of some of Tagore's famous poems by the Primary students. This was followed by the presentation of his inspiring quotes along with their meanings. Students of Classes 6 and 7 presented a narration of Tagore's short story 'When Wishes Come True', highlighting its valuable message. Students of Class 8 enlightened the audience about Tagore's life, literary contributions and remarkable works.
The programme aimed to familiarize students with the life, teachings, and literary works of Shri Rabindranath Tagore. It also encouraged them to appreciate literature, develop good values, cultivate a love for reading and draw inspiration from his life and works.
In her address, the Principal appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers in organizing the meaningful assembly. She emphasized that Tagore's teachings continue to inspire generations and encouraged everyone to cultivate a love for reading and contribute positively to society.
The programme concluded on a meaningful note, leaving the students inspired by the life and literary legacy of Shri Rabindranath Tagore.
