GANESH CHATHURTHI CELEBRATIONS (12.09.18)

The school celebrated 'Vinayaka Chavithi' on 12th September with great devotion and enthusiasm. The festival is celebrated to honour the remover of obstacles the elephant -headed God Ganesha.

On this occasion a special puja was offered to Lord Ganesha - Ganesh Chathurthi is a festival of wisdom, prosperity and auspiciousness. To promote the usage of eco-friendly idols and to create awareness regarding a safer environment, the members of 'Vatsalya Club' prepared clay idols, which were kept for sale. The amount collected from the same was contributed towards charity. Students visited RINL and presented Eco-friendly idols to the CMD, Director (Personnel) and other officials of RINL.

A special assembly was organised wherein children presented a song and an article signifying the joy and enthusiasm of celebrating the festival. The 'Little Green Club' also presented an awareness programme on the importance of celebrating an eco-friendly Ganesh Chathurthi which is the need of the hour.
