Hindi Diwas was celebrated on 14th September by Hindi Club, Vaangmayi because on this day in 1949, the constituent Assembly of India had adopted Hindi written in Devanagari script as the official language of the Republic of India.
Students spoke about the importance of Hindi and recited a poem on Hindi as our National Language. They also recited ‘Dohas’ of the famous Hindi poets Kabir and Rahim. A quiz competition was conducted on Hindi grammar and famous Hindi authors and poets.
The school Principal Smt. Visalakshi addressed the students and told them how they can improve their knowledge of Hindi language.
The programme was appreciated by the Principal and the teachers.
