GANDHI JAYANTHI (02.10.18)

The school celebrated ‘Gandhi Jayanthi’ the 150th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, on 2nd October as a tribute to the father of Indian independence. The Blue House organized various programmes from 26th September to 29th September in this connection. Children displayed Writeups on the life and achievements of Mahatma Gandhi and a special class assembly was organised wherein children presented conversations and role plays based on incidents from his  childhood.

 

On the concluding day, a special outdoor assembly was organised by the Blue House, The Principal Smt. Visalakshi and Headmistress Smt.Arundhati paid floral tributes to the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi. A snippet of his autobiography was also presented in the assembly. Mahatma Gandhi, revered as one of history’s most transformative and inspirational figures, will continue to inspire millions across the globe with his empathy and humanity.
