Students go on yearly excursions to various places in India and also to places of historical significance. There is nothing like directly visiting a place to be able to appreciate its significance.
A team of 70 students and teachers went on an excursion to Delhi, Mathura, Agra and Fatehpur Sikri in 2003.
Another team of 90 students went to Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.
A team of 75 students and teachers went to Mysore, Bangalore, Ooty, Chennai in 2004.
In 2005 the children of secondary classes visited Chandigarh, Kullu-Manali, Delhi etc. The excursions are arranged in the Dussehra holidays every year.
In 2011 a group of 120 students went to Kerala. In 2012 around 123 students went to Delhi and Agra.
In 2014 a team of 147 students went to Bangalore, Mysore, Coonoor & ooty
The latest excursion was in 2016. A total of 80 students of class 10 went on an excursion to Agra, Delhi and Jaipur.
