National Doctors' Day Celebrations
Doctors’ day was celebrated on 1st July, 2017 in the school auditorium. It was a great opportunity for the students of class 10 to interact with the chief guest of the programme, Dr. A.V.Venu Gopal, MD, DM(Nephrology) , working at Care Hospital, Vizag .
Dr. A.V.Venu Gopal enlightened the students on the importance of Kidneys in the human body and how Kidney transplantation is done and what are the risks involved.
Students were enthusiastic to get their doubts clarified and Dr. A.V.Venu Gopal addressed all of them with complete information. It was very beneficial to the young minds because many of their doubts were clarified and many myths erased.
On this occasion, the Secretary & Correspondent Mr M.Venu Mohan said that God has reserved the creation of life but has given the opportunity to doctors to sustain life, heal and give good health to the sufferers. He quoted “a good doctor treats the disease but a great doctor treats the patients”.
Dr. A.V.Venu Gopal was felicitated on the occasion. The program was organized by Science club and was attented by the Principal, students of class 10 and teachers.
