Pongal is a harvest festival, a traditional thanks giving occasion to nature. Pongal was celebrated at Little Angels School on Wednesday, 9^th January,2019 with much gusts and enthusiasm. The day started with invocation to the almighty followed by lighting the lamp. Blue house organized a plethora of programmes including article on importance of festival, popular folk songs by Primary & Secondary students and greetings in different languages was also a highlight. Students dressing up as ‘ Haridasu’ was another special attraction. Students came in their traditional dresses and exhibited joy and pride as they filled the campus with the land’s cultural aura. Mr. M.Venumohan encouraged everyone to know the significance of Pongal to imbibe, adhere and to uphold the traditional values.
