INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS


The celebrations for Independence began one week before with much hype by conducting various programmes like Flower bouquet making , Paper origami, using tricolours igniting the young minds with true patriotism. On the eve of Independence Day NCC cadets NGC, school captain took out a rally in and around the main streets of MVP, exhibiting a sense of patriotism with slogans .

Little Angels celebrated India’s 73rd Independence Day with unprecedented patriotic fervour. The gamout of celebrations  were held in the ground which was decorated so well that it witnessed a vibrant patriotic spirit amongst all.

The celebrations commenced with the lighting of a lamp and also garlanding the portrait of the Father of the Nation by our Founder & Chairman and student Chief guest, Principal,  Vice – Principal, Headmistress. Well decorated tricolour flag was unfurled by the student chief guest and accompanied by the Founder. The student  chief guest Syamala Joyce attracted everyone’s attention with her inspirational words about the persistence in all the endeavours. The main highlight of the celebrations was saluting the nation and its freedom fighters by showcasing a unique tribute by portraying the Real Heroes with mixed emotions like pride, loyalty, patriotism, courage which captured all the hearts recalling them. The school choir roused the patriotic fervour of all present with their heart felt rendition of patriotic songs.

The Founder Chairman felicitated  the 2nd Ranker in A.P State and the topper of the AISSE March 2019, B. Kritika Sharma with a cash award amidst great cheers and applause.  The sports achievers Master Ch.Pavan Karthikeya, International Roller Skater, who participated in ‘Inline Alpine’  event at Barcelona Spain,  and Master Ch. Datta Avinash who went to Japan for a special coaching under Olypian coach were also felicitated today. The toppers of classes 7,8,9  ( 2018-19) were felicitated by the Founder  and students expressed their deep gratitude towards holistic foundation and futuristic approach nurtured by the management.

The Chairman in his address urged the children  to strive hard with honesty, dedication in all their aspirations sighting the example of  smart achievers of the  school.

The students put up dances on a medley of patriotic songs and enthused all with their energy and verve. Rakshabandhan was also celebrated by tying Rakhis by the sisters on their brothers wrist which added colour to the event.

The programme ended with vote of thanks.
