Deputy Director General Visit- 28.08.2019

It was a memorable evening for Little Angels School, MVP colony, Visakhapatnam, where the Deputy Director General of NCC, AP & Telangana State AIR COMMODORE N.N. REDDY along with NCC officers, COMMODORE V.V.S. RAJU (Nau Sena Medal Receiver), GROUP COMMANDER, VSP, COLONEL S. PATNAYAK A.O, Group Head Quarters, VSP, COLONEL SANJEEV DHOUNDIYAL, Commanding Officer 2(A) Girls Bn NCC,VZM, Lt. COLONEL S SUNDARAM T.O , GROUP HEAD QUARTERS, VSP, WING COMMANDER SITANSHU SINHA, Commanding Officer, 6 (A) SQN NCC,VSP made a visit to Little Angels School on 28.08.2019 at 4:30 pm.
The DDG was received with Guard of Honour by NCC Cadets, the Founder & Chairman Sri Manga Venumohan, Director Smt. Manga Ranganayaki, Principal Ms. Nafeesa Begum, Vice – Principal Smt. V.Sharada, Headmistress Smt Indu Malini.N, ANO of 6(A) SQN NCC,VSP Third Officer M.Appa Rao, ANO of 2(A) G Bn NCC VZM, Third Officer Sakina Begum,cadets of NCC and school captains.
The DDG made a visit to the school ground to meet the cadets, visited NCC room, School library and Computer Lab. A Video presentation about the activities of the school and NCC activities like training, firing, community service, awareness programme which were conducted by the NCC units were shown.
The DDG gave a message to the students to imbibe discipline and strive for personal development. He briefed about the history of NCC and role of NCC, role of school in moulding the students to emerge as responsible citizen of the country. The DDG stressed on importance of education , overall development as a Key factor to acquire leadership qualities.
It was an enriching, inspirational and memorable programme.
