Youth Ideathon @75 2021 Achievers


 

This year in the month of September 2021, CBSE in association with Management & Entrepreneurship and Professional Skills (MEPSC) under the ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship has organized an All India Level Contest for the students of classes 6 to 10 - Youth Ideathon,India @75 2021. This unique initiative by CBSE is a big boost to the school children through which they could showcase their talent and share ideas on a national platform.

Students from Little Angels School also took part in the Ideathon event and it is a proud moment for our school to announce that, two of our angelites have emerged in the top 125 best students selected from 62000 students across 5000 schools registered for this event. Their ideas were selected in the “Best Green Idea Category”. Out of all the entries, the best 500 were selected for the second round, during which students attended virtual meetings, completed tasks and assignments on a daily basis for one week. They also got the opportunity to interact and take guidance from some of the leading entrepreneurs and industry experts of India and abroad.  

Aanchal Patra of Class 6, won the best award in ‘State Category’ for her idea. She received a 'Certificate of Merit ' and Cash Prize of 10,000/- for top position in the state of Andhra Pradesh. She has also received a free mentorship programme for 1 year from Ideathon. Aanchal personally received her award at the prestigious institute IIT Delhi on 20-11-2021. The idea proposed by her “HOME-MADE COMPOST – A KEY TO SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT IN PRESENT SCENARIO” is undoubtedly an important agenda and can benefit the entire country.

 

Antara Ghosh of Class 7, has received a 'Certificate of Excellence' for getting selected in the top 125 students in IndiaHer idea is about “Awareness programs to be conducted to educate people about all environmental hazards and groups of people to be formed to plant trees, clean rivers etc.”

 

Little Angels family is extremely proud of our young learners and we congratulate them and their family members for this achievement.

We also congratulate our Teacher Mrs. Sakina Begum, who is the Mentor appointed by the school for mentoring the students for the Youth Ideathon event and helping them to reach the top 125 in the country.
