National Mathematics Day Celebrations


Every year National Mathematics Day is celebrated in Little Angels School to mark the birth anniversary of legendary Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan.

School gives a wide platform to students to showcase their talent in the field of Mathematics. This year it was celebrated for two days (21st and 22nd December. 

On 21st December classroom activities were conducted for classes 6 to 9.Students participated and prepared charts on Great Mathematicians like Srinivasa Ramanujan ,Aryabhatta ,prepared geometrical patterns and good quotes on Mathematics. 

On 22nd December Special assembly was conducted.Honourable Director of our school Swathi Ma'am addressed the students highlighting the importance of Mathematics in everyday life and also inaugurated Math exhibition put up by the students from classes 1 to 5.Honourable Director Kranti Sir inaugurated the Maths exhibition put up by the students of classes 6 to 9 and visited all the exhibits.The efforts put up by the students was highly appreciated by the Directors and Academic Heads.

Students also visited the exhibition and  took active part in  playing the ground games which are related to Mathematics like snake and ladder,Ganith shatranj,relay race for classes 6 to 9 ,Bombing the shapes for classes 1 and 2 ,Musical math for classes 3,4,and 5..Children took part in all the activities as per the time slot given.

All the heads encouraged the students for their active participation.

It was a day filled with Fun and Learning.
