World Ozone Day Celebrations
As a part of the World Ozone Day Celebrations, various activities were conducted in the school. It was an initiative to prompt, young minds to start contributing their role in saving ‘Mother Earth’.
Quiz based on ozone depletion, causes and consequences were conducted for classes 9th and 10th a large number of students actively participated.
B.Harsha Vardhan of IX –B bagged the 1st prize and V.Jagathosya of IX-A secured 2nd prize in the quiz competition.
In ‘Painting cum Slogan Writing’ the students of 9th and 10th very enthusiastically prepared interesting charts depicting the theme ‘Preservation of Ozone Layer’.
T. Pragnya of 9E bagged the 1st prize and S.Bharadwaj of 9B secured the 2nd position in painting cum slogan writing competition.
On the whole, it was a creative and interesting programme which enlightened the young minds and made them understand their role in stopping the ozone layer from further depletion.
