REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS-2018


" Freedom in mind, faith in words, Pride in our heart, memories in our soul. Let us salute the nation on Republic Day."

The 69th Republic Day was celebrated impressively and splendidly in the school today.  The students were bubbling with unbeaten energy and enthusiasm, holding  and waving  the National Flag.  It was a proud moment for the NCC girls of 2(A) Girls Bn. for performing the Guard of  Honour for the first time in the history of Little Angels.  The celebrations began by the  prayer followed by lighting the lamp and garlanding the portrait by the student chief guests Kumari Shagun Das of 10A, K.Karthikeya of  10C, The Director  of  Little Angels School Mrs. M. Ranganayaki, Principal Ms. Nafeesa Begum,  Vice-Principal  Mrs. V. Sharada  and  Headmistress  Mrs. Indu Malini.

          Kumari Shagun Das of 10A was given the honour of  hoisting the National flag.  The audience was enthralled watching the spectacular parade by NCC, NGC, School Council and Sports achievers.  The student chief  guest Shagun Das addressed the gathering  and  in  her  message  she  stressed on the  need of women empowerment.  She asked the students to grow as good human beings and each individual is responsible for his / her own destiny.

          The Director, Mrs. M. Ranganayaki,  in her address emphasized on inculcating human values, besides being a man of success.  She also advised students to always rise up by overcoming  difficulties which come in their way.

          The cultural programme  left the audience spell bound.  The various drills such as Bamboo drill and Hoop drill were performed by the students with great  co-ordination and synchronization which was a visual treat to the eyes.  There was a breath taking demonstration by the students making different pyramids with utmost concentration and precision. The demonstration of Karate was also equally commendable as the students performed various styles, stunts and the technique of self-defense.  The splendid display of peacock dance and patriotic dance was full of energy and patriotic fervour.   The rendition of patriotic songs made the audience feel proud being Indians.                                                  

The 8th class topper in Telugu FL  Kum. T. Sri Vaishnavi Sanjana was awarded with merit scholarship instituted by Mrs. N.V.V.Satyavalli (ex-telugu teacher) and a cash award was given to Mr. Rama Rao, the Security guard.

The International, National, State level and CBSE sports achievers were honoured with medals and certificates by The School Director, Mrs. M. Ranganayaki.  

This Republic Day was celebrated by large number of participants who filled the spirit of patriotism in every one.
