Eligibility Criteria for Admission

Admission into classes L.K.G to 9 is governed by the following rules:

  1. For admission into Kindergarten classes, children should satisfy age rules (3+ for L.K.G, 4+ for U.K. G by 31st March of the current academic year). Submission of date of birth certificate, blood group report and Aadhaar card is a must at the time of admission.
  2. For admission into classes 1 to 9, children should satisfy age rules 5+ for Class 1  std, 6+ for Class 2 and so on for other classes by 31st March of the current academic year. Study in an English medium and a recognized school is compulsory.

NOTE: As per the National Education Policy (NEP), the minimum admission age for children is 3 plus years for Nursery class, 4 plus years for LKG, 5 plus years for UKG, 6 plus years for Class 1 and so on and so forth as on 1st April of the Academic Year in which the child is seeking admission. NEP also recommends that schools must follow the rules and regulations of their respective state government. However, in the state of Andhra Pradesh, the recommendations of NEP have not been enforced so far. Any prospective change in the age rules shall be made applicable to the students with immediate effect as per the changes implemented by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Parents should give their consent to comply with the new changes as implemented by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and shall abide by the decisions of the school in deciding the class at any point of time.

  1. Transfer certificate, study certificate, marks-cum-promotion certificate and any other achievement certificates of the child in Co-curricular/Extra-curricular activities at district/state/national level are to be submitted at the time of admission.
  2. If belonging to SC, ST, OBC Category, a certificate for the same should be submitted at the time of admission in the name of the student.
  3. FOR ADMISSIONS INTO CLASS 9:  
  • Admission into class 9 shall be open only to a student who has passed the class 8 examination from an institution affiliated to CBSE or any recognised board or is recognised by the Education Department of the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
  • Student must complete at least 3 years of study in a third language as per CBSE guidelines and produce a pass certificate of Class 8 with details of the third language studied.
  • Admission is subject to the submission of all the relevant documents as the case may be and also the approval of the CBSE board as per Circular No. Coord/ROs/Admission-IX-XI/2019 dated 18.07.2019.
  •       f. ADMISSIONS INTO CLASS 10 (CBSE)

           As the syllabus prescribed at the secondary level is of two years integrated course, no admission shall be taken into Class 10     directly.

            However, admission into Class 10 in the school shall be open only to a student,

          (a) who has completed a regular course of study for class 9.

          (b) who has passed the class 9 examination from an institution affiliated to CBSE New Delhi only.

       (c) has studied a third language till Class 8 and must produce a pass certificate in a third language upto Class 8 from the previous school.

       (d) who has registered with CBSE in class 9 and the registration details are signed and attested by the Principal of the previous school.

       (e) whose parents are transferred, or their families shifted, after procuring from the students the mark sheet and the transfer certificate duly counter-signed by the educational authorities of the Board concerned.

        (f) is subject to the submission of all the relevant documents as the case may be and also the approval of the CBSE Board      as per Circular No.COORD/SO(Ptg)/LOC/2019 dated 05.04.2019.

    NOTE:

    The admissions are subject to vacancy and merit. The prescribed languages of the school must have been studied by the students. The decision of the school with regard to admissions is final and is also binding on the parent.
