National Science Day Celebrations


National Science Day was celebrated in Little Angels School on 28.02.2017. It is celebrated to commemorate the discovery of the Raman Effect by Indian Physicist Sir Chandra Sekhra Venkata Raman on 28.02.1928. The theme for National Science Day was, "Fostering Scientific temperament and Energy conservation." Every year this day ignites the young minds to think innovatively using their scientific knowledge and put up a display of their idea in the form of models, charts or Seminar presentation. The celebrations started with a prayer song and welcoming the gathering. The Secretary & Correspondent Sri M. Venu Mohan garlanded the portrait of Sir C. V. Raman. A documentary on the "Biography of Sir C. V. Raman" was played. Students read various articles on the importance of Science Day and how to inculate Scientific temperament in the children and Science Song was sung and class 8th students gave power point presentation on various topics of Science and Technology.
