Little Angels School celebrated Children’s day with a lot of enthusiasm and fun filled activities. The celebrations were spread over two days.
On 13th November, the students were witness to nail biting finishes of final matches of Throwball, Tennicoit, Volley ball, Table Tennis and Basket ball. Students were on their toes, cheering their house teams.
The morning of 14th November dawned bright and sunny. The school was decorated with festoons. All students were dressed in colourful dresses bringing the festive mood and excitement with them. The school assembly was conducted to pay rich tributes to ‘the Architect of Modern India’, Sri Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, whose birthday is celebrated as Children’s day.
Speaking on the occasion, the Secretary and Correspondent, Sri M.Venumohan asserted that it is a constant endeavour of the school to innovate and find ways to explore the potential, provide platform for students to realize their dreams. He also highlighted the importance of Adversities to bring the students out of their comfort zone to contribute and to see India as a developed country. He also encouraged students to avail opportunities and freedom should always be balanced with discipline in the right proportions.
Shanti Memorial award, instituted by Smt.N. Jhansi Rani, a former Telugu teacher, was given away to toppers of class 2 in Annual examination. This year there were 5 toppers who received the award.
The students had a gala time enjoying class room activities, visiting fun games stalls, Singing arena, Talent arena, Art exhibition, Food courts. Every student has been entertained to the core and went home satisfied.
