Vidyarthi Vignan Manthan – 2018-19


Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM), an initiative of Vignana Bharti (VIBHA), in collaboration with National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), an institution under the Ministry of Human Resource Development and Vigyan Prasar, an autonomous organization under the Department of Science and Technology, has conducted the State Level Camp (Level-II) Examination on Sunday, 20th January, 2019 at Aravinda High School, Kunchanapalli, Tadepalle Mandal, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.

More than one lakh forty six thousand students all over India have appeared for the first level online examination.  Out of which 133 students from Andhra Pradesh were selected for State Level (Level-II) Examination).  The component of evaluation includes – AOSAT (Application Oriented Scholastic Aptitude Test), ICSS (Indian Contribution to Space Sciences), EST (Experimental Skill Test) and USCTV (Understanding Science Concept Through Video).

The school is very proud to inform that eleven of our students from Class 7th to 10th got selected for State Level Camp, out of which 4 students got selected for National Level.

  • The State Level winners are:
  •  from Class 8th:

    1. A.V.L. Varshini of 8 – A  bagged 2nd prize with a cash prize of Rs. 3000/- along with a certificate and a momento.

    from Class 9th:

    1. A. Abhinav Raj of 9 – C  bagged 1st prize with a cash prize of Rs.5000/- along with a certificate and a momento.

    from Class 10th:

    1. Krithika Sharma of 10 – C bagged 1st prize with a  cash prize of Rs.5000/- along with a certificate and a momento.
    1. Himanshu Salunkhe of 10 – A bagged 2nd prize with a cash prize of Rs. 3000/- along with a certificate and a momento.

            *** National Level Camp will be held on May 18th & 19th at Hyderabad.***
