The 70th Republic Day was celebrated in the school premises with great fervour and enthusiasm. The participation of the students was majestic and impressive.
The programme began by invoking the blessings of the Almighty. The student Chief guest K.Indraneel of class 10A, being the topper in the merit list was privileged to hoist the National flag after lighting the lamp and garlanding the portrait by the dignitaries.
The most important event of the Republic Day, the parade enthralled the audience. The audience was enthralled watching the spectacular parade by NCC-Boys, NCC-Girls, School captains, NGC and sports achievers. It was a proud moment for the school that 5 children participated in the international level in various events. The achievers were congratulated and the Chairman conveyed his best wishes to them on their achievement.
The Founder Chairman, Sri M.Venumohan, in his speech has expressed his happiness that the school is setting new benchmark every year. He reminded everyone of the school motto, ‘Sramayeva Jayate’ and wanted children to adhere to it.
The student Chief Guest Indraneel shared all his experiences in his achievements and thanked the School management, Sir, teachers, his friends and parents who encouraged him. Merit scholar ship awardee., M.Amruta Gayatri also conveyed her greetings and encouraged other children to participate actively.
All the cultural activities were eye catching. The mash up dance by the secondary girls filled the ambience with patriotic fervour. Zumba drill by Primary children was a captivating event with colourful formations. Boys of secondary performed a patriotic dance with pyramid formation. The patriotic songs and the articles based on the national festival made the audience feel proud being Indians.
Let us all together commence a journey of Peace, Harmony and Progress.
