On 12th July, a team of 197 students of class 9th and 8 teachers visited Thotla Konda, one of the Buddhist monastic centres in Visakhapatnam as part of their Heritage tour. The guide M.Y.Srinivas Rao being proficient in English, Hindi & Telugu explained at length about the history of the place. The zealous children made a note of it. They were overawed by the vast stupas, their engineering skills and even the scenic  beauty of the place. Some of them expressed their views  in an interview and all of them answered a questionnaire. They had an insight into the 3rd Century  BC structures. All children thanked the management for arranging such a wonderful heritage tour.
