REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS-2020


The 71st Republic Day was celebrated in Little Angels School with pride and patriotism on 26th January, 2020.  The Student Chief Guest for the occasion was Ch.Pranay of Class X ‘B’, who was chosen for his academic excellence and meritorious performance throughout the year.

The Occasion was graced with the presence of the Founder and Chairman Shri M.Venumohan, Director Mr.Kranthi Kiran, Principal Miss Nafeesa Begum, Head Mistress Mrs Indumalini, the parents and the students of the school.

The welcome speech was followed by the prayer song ‘Vande Mataram’.  The portrait of Dr.Rajendra Prasad was garlanded and floral tributes were offered. The student Chief Guest was given the Honour to hoist the National Flag and in his speech he gave credit to the school, his teachers and friends who motivated him to shape him into what he is today.  He also shared his success mantra ‘CAP’ where C- stands for ‘Channelising’ , A-stands for ‘Analysing’  and P-stands for ‘Preparing for the exam’.

The Parade of NCC, NGC, School Captains and the school achievers was an eye catching element of the day.  It filled everyone with a sense of pride.

The Cultural program entertained the audience as participants were at their best with enthralling performance. The tiny tots stole the show with their ramp walk depicting the cultural theme Unity in Diversity. The performance by the yoga students included various asanas and pyramid formations.  The aerobic drills presented by the primary students was very energetic. The colorful semi classical dance and Indo western dance displayed the true spirit of Patriotism.

The conversation between Ankur and Navya gave a deep insight into the significance of the Republic Day and the makers of our constitution.

Merit Scholarship instituted by our ex-teacher Mrs.N.V.Satyavalli was given away to Chaitra Shreya of class 9 ‘D’ for scoring the highest average in Telugu in the Annual Examination 2018-19.  A cash award was also presented to our contingent staff Mrs.K Savitriamma in recognition of her hard work.

Medals and Prizes were give away to International, National and State Sports achievers.

The Director Mr.Kranti Kiran congratulated all the students and teachers for organizing such a great event.

The Chairman in his speech reiterated the hard work done by the dedicated teachers and the magic that is created in our classrooms, libraries, ground and laboratories which is producing thousands of great minds every year.
