Congratulations V.Ushashree on your achievements
V.Ushashree of Class 9, is a classical dance exponent and takes active part in dance competitions/programmes organised in the city. She is learning Bharat Natyam and Kuchipudi Classical Dance forms and is very passionate about pursuing her talent in the field of dance. In the last few years, we have witnessed her achievements and seen her grow in leaps and bounds in the field of dance.
Every year, she takes part in different dance programmes and competitions and has won many awards and recognitions. She has been felicitated by various organisations for her contribution towards promotion, preservation and popularisation of the two Indian classical dance forms – Bharat Natyam and Kuchipudi.
In 2021, Ushashree got the opportunity to take part in ‘Bharatiya Nrithyotsav’ held in Srilanka. She has received a ‘Certificate’ and an ‘Award’ for her Bharat Natyam performance.
She has also performed Bharat Natyam dance in the temples of pilgrim places - Kedarnath and Badrinath and has won awards.
