As part of Inter House Competitions, Red House has conducted three different competitions for the students of Kindergarten, Classes 1 & 2 and Classes 3,4 & 5 on 19.11.2022.
KINDERGARTEN: “ORIGAMI”, paper folding art competition was conducted for the tiny tots of kindergarten during their activity period in respective classrooms. Every child participated and enjoyed this creative competition. Children transformed the flat sheet of paper into an interesting shape through folding. They made objects like boat, kite, flower, fan etc. Students works were displayed in the class. One best from each section is selected for prize.
CLASSES 1&2: “FUN WITH NUMBER LINE” competition was conducted for the students of Classes 1 and 2 during Zero and 1st period. Twenty-Six selected students participated in the competition. The selection of the students was done through a preliminary round conducted on 15.11.22 by the Maths teachers in their respective Maths period for all the sections of classes 1 and 2.Children picked a slip and solved the sum written in it. Every child participated enthusiastically as they have to solve the sum by jumping on the number line drawn. The judges selected two children for 1st and 2nd positions, taking into consideration the parameters like Reading, Solving and Announcing the answer.
CLASSES 3,4 &5: “WORD PUZZLE”competition was conducted for these children in the zero period. Fifty-Two selected students have participated in the competition. The selection of the students was done through a preliminary round conducted on 15.11.22 by the English teachers in their respective English periods for all the sections of classes 3, 4 and 5. A printed paper was given to the students. Children solved the given word puzzle by reading the clues. An active involvement of students is seen while solving the word puzzle. The judges selected children for 1st and 2nd positions.
