NCC Camp for Girl Cadets (CATC-VII)


The National Cadet Corps in India is a voluntary reorganization which recruits cadets from high school and colleges from all over the India. The cadets are given basic training in small arms and parade in the camps conducted.

    NCC Camp:  Combined Annual Training camp was (CATC-VII) was organised by the unit-2 (A) Arty Bty NCC, VSP at MPEVEM School, Sheelanagar,Visakhapatnam from 21.11.2022 to 28.11.2022. 19 Senior NCC cadets of our school attended the camp. Rigorous training amid strict adherence to the standard and discipline was given to the cadets. Cadets were trained in drill, weapon training, marching, map reading, personality development, disaster management, health and hygiene etc. Competitions were held in Quiz, Elocution, Throwball. Activities like trekking, beach cleaning, statue cleaning etc. were organised during the training period. Eye check-up camp was organised for the cadets. On the last day of the camp, cultural activities were conducted and prizes were distributed.                            NCC camp has a very tough routine but enjoyable, where cadets learnt to be independent, confident and are exposed to army way of life.
