National Science Day Celebration
On 25th February,2023 Science department of Little Angels School celebrated National Science Day to honour Sir C. V. Raman for his remarkable contribution towards science.
The day's proceedings began with lighting the ceremonial lamp and garlanding of the portrait of Sir C.V. Raman by Director Shri Kranti Kiran, Principal Mrs. Y.V. Indrani and Ex -Science teacher Mrs. P. Lalitha.
In this regard, Director Kranti Kiran Sir through his inspirational speech focused on the incorporation of scientific temperament among the young minds.
An article based on the topic "Importance of Science Day" and the role of Science Policy in creating a healthy, more equitable, secure interpersonal and scientific skills was read out.
On this occasion, a cash award and certificate was given by Ex- Science teacher Mrs. P. Lalitha to the students (G. Prachi of Class 10 under Senior Category & S.Jaswanth of Class 7 under Junior Category) for their innovative models presented at the CBSE Regional Science Exhibition 2022-23 at Vijayawada and as a token of encouragement to the students in the development of innovative ideas.
On this occasion based on the theme “Global Science for Global Wellbeing'' various classroom activities such as display of scientific charts, models, slogans were carried out. Through these activities students got the opportunity to showcase their scientific skills and knowledge. Some students participated in role plays, debates and many more to promote the spirit of scientific enquiry. Overall, students participated with great enthusiasm and the response was highly appreciable.
