Telugu Bhasha Dinotsavam
Telugu Bhasha Dinotsavam was celebrated on 29th August to mark the birth anniversary of Shri Gidugu Rammmurthy Pantulu, who is well known as the “Father of Telugu Revolution”.
The celebration was attended by the Director Smt. Ch. Swathi, Principal Mrs. Indu Malini N, Headmistress Mrs. Rama Devi and the parents of the participants and winners of the various competitions.
The celebrations started with the offering of floral tributes to Lord Ganesha and Telugu Talli Idol followed by a welcome dance by the students of secondary school. A play was enacted highlighting the importance of Telugu language which showcased students’ oratory skills and confidence in dialogue delivery. A skit on the benefits of water conservation was well depicted by the students of classes 6 and 7. A skit on the famous incidents in the life of Lord Krishna was presented by the students of classes 4 and 5 which was very enchanting and mesmerising. Ashtaavadhana presented by the students of secondary school was well appreciated by the audience.The winners of the various competitions, conducted by Tarangini Club were awarded by the Principal and the Headmistress.
The Academic Heads addressed the gathering and appreciated the performances of the students and their dedicated efforts and thanked the parents for their support and also the teachers who worked relentlessly to train the students and made the event a grand success.
