Workshop for Teachers on Multiple Intelligences in the Classroom


In today’s evolving educational landscape, equipping teachers with innovative strategies is essential for nurturing diverse learners. In this context, a highly engaging and informative teacher training workshop on “Multidisciplinary Teaching and Learning” was organized on June 10th, 2025, with the support of Oxford University Press. The session was facilitated by Mrs. Meena Suresh, a seasoned educator and expert in the field, who focused on applying the Multiple Intelligences Theory in classroom teaching. Madam was warmly  welcomed with a flower bouquet by the Headmistress. Madam opened her session with the definition of Multiple intelligence and further discussed in detail about the Plurality of intelligence. Her focus gave an insight on the 8 kinds of intelligence in students namely Linguistic, Logical, Musical, Special, Kinesthetic, Inter personal, Intra personal, Naturalistic. Teachers showed enthusiasm for incorporating and developing plans to implement the new approaches in their teaching.

The workshop aimed to enhance teachers' abilities to effectively deal with the multiple intelligence in their teaching and learning process.  Ms. Meena Suresh’s engaging approach and practical strategies, including the use of games and diagnostic worksheets, enabled teachers to reflect on their own practices and prepare to adopt more inclusive teaching methods.  With renewed motivation and insights, teachers left the session ready to explore and integrate the principles of multiple intelligence into their daily classroom interactions. The session closed with a note of vote of thanks   firstly for the management for the eventful session next to the resource person, teachers , technical team  and to everyone involved in the program.
