As a part of the ongoing cleanliness drive, the students of class 8th volunteered in the community service programme held today. They actively participated in this programme and cleaned the streets of MVP Colony, Sector-3. Later the students participated in the rally organized by GVMC, to create awareness among the local residents regarding the health hazards caused by the mosquitoes. They raised slogans to educate the people to keep the surroundings clean. The students urged the residents not to block the drains and also the streets with litter. They further advised them to take preventive measures to avoid mosquitoes bites which spread diseases like malaria and dengue etc.
