Doctors' Day
Doctors' Day Celebrations at Little Angels School, MVP Colony, Visakhapatnam, was held on July 1st, 2025. The event witnessed the gracious presence of esteemed guests, including Founder & Chairman Shri M. Venumohan, Director Shri M. Kranti Kiran, Principal Smt. Indu Malini N., teachers, and medical aspirants from Classes 8 to 10.
The celebration commenced with a soulful prayer, followed by a warm welcome extended to the Chief Guest, Dr. Rahul Kumar Bafna, MBBS, MD, FICO (CORNEA), Co-Founder & Consultant, Akshaya Super Speciality Eye Hospital. Students enthusiastically took the Doctor's Pledge, reaffirming their dedication and commitment to the noble medical profession.
Dr. Rahul Kumar Bafna was felicitated by the Founder & Chairman, Shri M. Venumohan Garu, in recognition of his service and dedication to healthcare. In his insightful address, Dr. Bafna emphasized the importance of eye care and shared valuable healthcare practices. His engaging interaction encouraged students to ask questions and learn from his rich experiences.
The Founder & Chairman also shared his thoughts, highlighting the importance of Doctor's Day and the invaluable role medical professionals play in society.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks and the rendition of the National Anthem by the School Choir, marking a respectful tribute to the medical fraternity.
Extended Initiative – Free Eye Screening Camp
As an extension of the celebrations, a free eye screening camp was conducted on July 2nd and 4th, 2025, under the supervision of Dr. Rahul Kumar Bafna and his dedicated team. The camp catered to students of Classes 6 to 9.High-quality equipment and expert screening ensured thorough check-ups, with prescriptions provided to all students. A few parents also availed of the service, making the initiative even more impactful.
The Doctor's Day celebrations and associated activities left a lasting impression on the students, inspiring many to pursue careers in the field of medicine and to appreciate the selfless contributions of healthcare professionals.
