National Sports Day Celebrations 2025

On the occasion of National Sports Day, our school organized a special program to honor the birth anniversary of the Hockey Legend Major Dhyan Chand, fondly remembered as the Wizard of Hockey. The celebration was a perfect blend of tribute, inspiration, and enthusiasm, highlighting the importance of sports in students’ lives.

The event began with a warm welcome address by the Additional Boys’ Sports Vice-Captain, followed by a soulful prayer song. A floral tribute was offered to Major Dhyan Chand by our Director, Shri. Kranti Kiran and Principal, Mrs. Indhu Malini. The National Sports Day Pledge was then administered by the Additional School Vice-Captain, reaffirming every student’s commitment to fitness and discipline.

The significance of the day was beautifully expressed through an article reading by the Additional Girls’ Vice-Captain (Green House). Inspiring messages from the Director and Principal motivated students to embrace sportsmanship, leadership, and teamwork in their daily lives.

To add vibrance, students of Classes VIII to X (Boys) presented a dynamic Western dance performance, filling the atmosphere with energy and joy. The program concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by the Girls’ Sports Vice-Captain.

The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 100 students, along with the presence of supportive parents who came to encourage the children. The celebration served as a reminder that sports not only build fitness but also nurture character, discipline, and resilience—qualities essential for every young learner.

At Little Angels, we strongly uphold CBSE’s vision that sports are as important as academics in shaping well-rounded individuals. National Sports Day 2025 truly reflected this spirit of growth, teamwork, and excellence
