Handwriting: A Skill for Life
At Little Angels School, we believe beautiful handwriting is more than neat letters — it reflects discipline, patience, confidence and consistent practice. A good handwriting habit helps children express their thoughts clearly and leaves a lasting impression, whether in an exam sheet or a letter to a friend.
To strengthen this life skill, we conduct a Special Handwriting Improvement Programme for selected students of Classes 3 to 9 who need extra guidance. Through focused practice, individual attention and continuous encouragement, our teachers help students improve:
Letter formation
Spacing and alignment
Pencil grip and hand movement
Writing posture
Overall presentation
Every student has been given a Handwriting Skills Handout (2026–27) with guidelines on correct posture, proper pencil grip, quality writing materials, uniform letter formation, spacing and daily practice techniques.
Students practise one page daily — a small, consistent habit that builds discipline and steadily refines their writing.
We’re delighted to see remarkable improvement through regular practice, dedicated teacher support and the sincere efforts of our children. Many who once struggled with legibility now write with greater confidence and pride.
Parents can help too — a few quiet minutes of daily practice at home, along with encouragement, go a long way in building this habit.
