Excursion to Hyderabad
“Excursions are a perfect way to expand one’s horizons”.
With this belief , Little Angels School arranged for an excursion to Hyderabad “ City of Pearls” from 05, January, 2018 to 09, January,2018. The team comprised of 71 students from classes 8th and 9th accompanied by Headmistress and four teachers.
It was an eventful journey.
The students were awestruck looking at the collection of exemplary artefacts , sculptures, painting, manuscripts etc., at the Salarjung Museum. The visit to the Golconda Fort was spectacular. The students enriched themselves with the historical significance of the fort. The students had a fun time in the NTR Garden.
The Iconic Ramoji Film City along with the magnificent Mahishmati setup mesmerized the students. They got an opportunity to know the process of movie making and some of our students participated also.
Hyderabad tour is incomplete without a visit to Charminar. So, our next visit was to Charminar and Jama Masjid which reminded us of the glorious past of the city. The team also visited Birla Mandir and Birla Planetarium where the cosmic presentation enlighted the students about the mysteries of the Universe.
Students had a great time buying gifts for their near and dear ones at Koti.
This short trip instilled the students with the sense of responsibility, caring and sharing, spirit of tolerance and other life skills which no class room can teach.
