INDEPENDENCE DAY - (15.08.17)


 “Fight against corruption,

  Spurl the flag of nation

  May peace, prosperity and mirth envelop the nation

  May the essence of brotherhood be alive in our heart

  May the pride and honour of India touch the sky”.

71st Independence Day was celebrated in Little Angels School with enthusiasm, patriotism and fervour. It was a proud moment for every student to take pride in their country’s honour and glory. Everyone in the school was geared up and enthused for the momentous occasion.

The patriotic fervour was vibrantly alive in the Bulletin Board displays and speeches delivered by the Director Smt. Ranganayaki, student chief guest Master A. Chandra Siddhardha of class 10th (SB), who stood first in the Formative Assessment – I and the toppers of the academic year 2016-17 (CBSE & SB). The cash awards were presented to the toppers of the academic year 2016-17 (CB & SB) to mark their excellence.

NCC ‘A’ certificates were awarded to NCC students of Little Angels for their proficiency. Various cultural items like patriotic songs were presented by the choir. A Dance Drama depicting the Freedom movement was presented by the students of secondary & primary classes. A colourful saree drill was performed by the students of secondary which added more colour to the programme. The students made the environment very patriotic and vibrant.
