Children's Day Celebrations


“Every child holds within him the future of  mankind”

The  school  celebrated  Children’s Day on 14th November with euphoria to bring joy and laughter in the lives of the young learners.

A special assembly was conducted and floral tributes were paid to the portrait of  Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on whose birthday Children’s Day is celebrated in India.

Students spoke on the life and contribution of  Chacha  Nehru towards modern India. Students rendered melodious songs in praise of  Nehruji.

B.Sruti Sri of class 9th was felicitated for her outstanding achievement in Karate. She is also one of the probables for  the Republic Day Parade to be held in Rajpath , New Delhi in 2020.

P.Rithin of class 8th was also felicitated for his excellent skills in playing conga.

NCC cadets of the school who passed the certificate ‘A’ examination held in 2019 were awarded the certificates.

Medals and certificates were given to the cadets who won gold and  silver medals in various competitions held in CATC-VIII held at Korukonda Sainik School in October 2019.

The assembly was followed by theme based class party which was the highlight of  the day. It was a delight to see the creatively decorated class rooms based on the theme chosen by the children.

Students felt special and loved as they indulged in fun games and shared scrumptious homemade snacks and sweets with their friends.

School Director Smt.M.Ranganayaki addressed the children and said that children have to bring change through themselves because the development of a country depends on the development of children. She exhorted the children to be energetic , enthusiastic and positive in their thinking.

In her speech the school Director also appealed to the students and teachers to avoid use of plastic to make the environment pollution- free.
