As a part of the Shiksha Saptah celebrations in the school from 23.07.2024 to 27.7.24, the following activities were conducted in the school for the students of classes 1 to 10 as per the details given in the Shiksha Saptah circular issued by the CBSE.
DAY:1-TLM DAY(23-07-2024)
Students and teachers prepared Teaching Learning Materials and demonstrated them in the classrooms.
Teachers also taught the students how to make Teaching Learning Materials for improvement of their learning .
Students and Teachers are participated in the activities very enthusiastically.
DAY:2-FLN Day(23-07-2024)
As a part of ‘Shiksha Saptah’ Foundational Literacy and Numeracy Day was celebrated in the school on 23rd July. The FLN aims to develop Fundamental Literacy and Numeracy skills in the early years of education.
The students of classes 1 and 2 narrated moral stories to encourage creative thinking and to develop speaking skills. In order to improve counting skills and recognize the order of numbers, students very enthusiastically participated in arranging the before, between and after numbers.
The FLN not only enhances cognitive development but also provides strong foundational skills in reading, writing and numerical understanding which boost communication and self-confidence in children.
DAY:3-Sports Day(24-07-2024)
As a part of ‘Shiksha Saptah’ celebrations organised by CBSE the Sports Day was conducted on 24/7 /2024 in Little Angels School ,Ukkunagaram.

Students enthusiastically participated in promoting and playing indigenous games of Andhra Pradesh.
Teachers also explained the significance of the ancient Indian games which are very important for the holistic development of the students.
The safety of the students was taken care of by the PETs.
The celebrations were a resounding success. They not only provided an enjoyable break from regular academic activities but also helped in promoting physical fitness and cultural awareness among students.
The event underscored the importance of preserving and celebrating the rich heritage of traditional sports of India.
DAY: 4-Cultural Day(25-07-2024)
Marking the fourth day of Shiksha Saptah Celebrations, Cultural Day was organised on 25-07-2024 in Little Angels School, Ukkunagaram.
A special outdoor assembly was conducted in the school premises wherein students sang devotional songs melodiously.
A. Sai Sahasra of class 3A presented a classical dance performance using a hula hoop, displaying grace. The performance was highly appreciated by the audience. The highlight of the day was the display of the costumes by the primary students representing different states of India. Students dressed in traditional attire from Punjab, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and many other states paraded proudly, showcasing the cultural fabric of our country. The vibrant colours and intricate designs of the costumes captivated the audience, reflecting the unique traditions and heritage of each region.
Girls from secondary classes presented a lively folk dance bringing the energy and vibrancy of India's folk traditions to the stage.
The event concluded with an inspiring speech by our Principal Smt. P.S. Visalakshi. She commended the students for their participation and highlighted the importance of understanding and appreciating our cultural diversity. The speech motivated the students to continue celebrating and preserving the rich heritage of our country.
The Cultural Day celebration was a resounding success. The event was a testament to the spirit of Shiksha Saptah and the commitment of Little Angels School to holistic education.
DAY: 5-Skilling Day(26-07-2024)
As a part of Shiksha Saptah celebrations organised by CBSE, Skilling and Digital Initiatives Day was conducted on 26-07-2024 in Little Angels School, Ukkunagaram.
A variety of activities were conducted in the school, aimed at enhancing students' knowledge and fostering their curiosity in diverse subjects.
Students of classes 1 and 2 had an exciting visit to the school garden. They explored different plants, learned about their growth processes and enjoyed a hands-on experience in nature. Teachers guided the students, explaining the importance of plants and how they contribute to our environment.
Students of Classes 3 to 5 participated in interactive discussions on the significance of a balanced diet and water conservation. The sessions emphasized the components of a healthy diet, the benefits of nutritious food, and practical ways to conserve water in daily life. These discussions aimed to instill good habits and raise awareness about health and sustainability.
Students of Classes 6 to 9 watched engaging videos related to Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) in the computer lab. The videos showcased the latest advancements in AR/VR technology and demonstrated their applications in various fields such as education, entertainment, and medicine. These sessions were designed to spark interest in cutting-edge technology and its potential.
Highlight of the day was the ‘Food Without Fire’ competition for students of classes 8 to 10. Participants showcased their culinary creativity by preparing dishes that did not require cooking. The competition encouraged students to think innovatively and make healthy, delicious food using raw ingredients. Judges commended the participants for their enthusiasm and ingenuity, making the competition a memorable and inspiring experience for all involved.
DAY: 6-Eco clubs for Mission LiFE Day(27-07-2024)
Inauguration of Hug a Plant programme in the school.
The "Hug a Plant on Your Birthday" programme was launched in our school to promote environmental awareness and encourage students to connect with nature. The initiative aims to create a unique and memorable birthday experience while fostering a sense of responsibility towards the environment.Sasi Varshita of class 6A and Praveena of class 8A got the opportunity to plant saplings as they celebrated their birthday on the day.
Homemade snacks/ fruits for short break and protein- rich food for lunch.
The ‘Healthy Snacks and Lunch’ initiative was part of the Shiksha Saptah (Education Week) programme aimed at promoting better nutrition among students. This initiative encouraged students to bring healthy snacks and lunches to school, fostering an environment of health consciousness and educating students on the benefits of a balanced diet.
